We've been experiencing a persistent natural gas smell coming from our furnace room for quite some time. After contacting a few local companies with no success, I was close to giving up when I decided to call Quarry Hills, and I’m so glad I did. Andrew, the HVAC technician, went truly above and beyond. He conducted a thorough evaluation that included checking the furnace’s combustion and overall functionality, inspecting the gas system, testing and adjusting gas pressure levels to ensure they were within manufacturer specifications. He clearly explained that when gas pressures exceed those specifications, excess gas can be released into the combustion chamber, which can cause a noticeable gas odor. Andrew tested the system with the furnace both off and running, carefully checked for leaks, and reviewed the entire setup before confidently confirming that everything was safe and operating properly. The experience was seamless from start to finish. Even scheduling the appointment was impressive. The representative on the phone was professional and detail-oriented, asking thoughtful questions about our unit, its age, and even requesting serial numbers so the technician would arrive fully prepared in case parts were needed. Andrew arrived promptly within the stated time window, was exceptionally professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. I've been using Quarry Hills for years. My latest experience was just as good. The tech, Andrew Foley, spent time trying to figure out if fixing my furnace would be smarter, and safe, as opposed to replacing it. He was able to work out how to replace the needed parts and thought it could give me years longer with the unit, that is still running incredibly efficiently. Aside from saving a bunch of money, it also kept a good piece of equipment from going to the landfill. I trust they're helping me make the best decision for me.

Had an issue with my furnace. I've used Quarry Hills for 2 prior AC repairs, so I was very happy to call them again. They got right back to me and scheduled the service. Andrew was very thorough and up front about the potential issues/fixes as well as costs. He had the furnace back up and running within an hour, gave me some information to keep it on if the issue returned, as well as provided invoices for each of the repair scenarios in the event my aging unit needed a part replaced. The technical expertise was spot on. I had my oil company in the past service but could not remove the air in the water line system. Also learned that they did not vacuum out the ashes. Now I hear no air in the pipes and the furnace operates softer in sound. Great job!! Will schedule my next cleaning for October 2024.
